Office location: The Special Education office is located on the second floor of the Jr. Sr. High building, room 209.
The Harpursville Central School District provides a
continuum of special education services to children from 3 to 21 years of
age. Services are recommended by the Committee on Special Education (ages
5-21) and the Committee on Preschool Special Education (ages 3-5).
The District’s beliefs regarding special education services are firmly grounded in a commitment to developing supports for students in the least restrictive environment and in the general
education setting to the greatest degree possible. The Harpursville Central School District also
utilizes placements off campus for students needing such supports.
Our special education services are designed to facilitate
learning that allows our students access to curriculum leading toward a New
York State Regents diploma. Our goal for all of our students is to obtain a quality education as well as to acquire the skills needed to succeed in their future endeavors.
Any questions regarding our Special Education Services can be directed to Joshua Quick, CSE/CPSE Chairperson at [email protected] or (607) 693-8104.
