The Mac Sabol Memorial Scholarship
Deadline: April 30, 2025
Awarded to a graduating senior who is pursuing an education in music in college, vocally or instrumentally. Applicants are asked to write a short letter detailing why they would like to be considered.
The Binghamton Garden Club - Laimons E. & Silvia Drupa Scholarship
Deadline: April 30, 2025
This scholarship is awarded to an applicant pursuing an undergraduate degree related to Horticulture, Botany, Biology, or Environmental Studies.
NYCM Scholarship for Citizenship
Deadline: April 30, 2025
The NYCM Insurance Scholarship for Citizenship recognizes one male student-athlete and one female student-athlete for outstanding citizenship and scholarship.
Richard Shay Human Services Award
Deadline: April 30, 2025
This scholarship is intended for a HS senior planning to attend a full-time college program to pursue a career in human services, counseling, law, criminal justice or a related field.
Kathleen and Roger Merrill Sr Memorial Volunteerism Scholarship
Deadline: April 30, 2025
This scholarship seeks a candidate who understands volunteerism but also actively participates in said volunteerism throughout the community, demonstrating its principals.
Blue Brothers LEMC Law Enforcement Scholarship
Deadline: April 30, 2025
This scholarship seeks students who are not only pursuing a career in law enforcement, but who also have shown dedication to their community through service.
Jessie H. Baker Scholarship
Deadline: May 1, 2025
Awarded to college-bound seniors that reside in Broome County who demonstrate hard work, determination, and desire to pursue a higher education - awarded by the Jesse H. Baker Education Fund
HYSA Scholarship
Deadline: May 31, 2025
One boy and one girl will be selected to receive a scholarship from HYSA. The HYSA believes that youth sports can have a profound impact on a young person's life, and they are honored to be able to support these students as they continue their education.
SCT and BCE Systems STEM Scholarships
Deadline: May 5, 2025
Both scholarships are awarded to a graduating senior committed to pursuing a STEM degree. See Miss Rowe for more information on both of these scholarships.
Democratic Women Of Broome County Scholarship
Deadline: May 2, 2025
The Democratic Women of Broome County is an organization that: 1. Upholds the fundamental principles of the Democratic party - A government responsive to the people that values equality, justice and opportunities for all citizens. 2. Supports all qualified Democratic candidates and especially promotes and encourages active roles for women in government.
New York Housing Association Scholarship
Deadline: May 9, 2025
Applicants#FAC51C must be associated with the manufactured or modular housing construction industry, and planning to pursue an education in a trade.
Marine Corps League Scholarship
Deadline: May 21, 2025
This scholarship aims to provide financial support for a student who is the child or grandchild of a Veteran and recognizes the growing need for qualified individuals in local trades and services professions.
Sgt. Lawrence D.Peters Memorial Scholarship
Deadline: May 16, 2025
Awarded to a student who demonstrates honor, courage, and commitment - the foundation of beliefs held by Sgt. Peters. The senior must be the child or grandchild of a veteran who were residents in Broome County, or were at the time of their passing.
District Adult Education Scholarships
Deadline: May 15, 2025
Broome-Tioga BOCES annually offers each school one adult education scholarship for a student who graduated the previous June and is interested in enrolling in a 2025-2026 adult education course. The anticipated programs include:
Building Trades 101 (Fall)
Phlebotomy (Fall and Spring) Courses
Residential Electricity (Spring)
Welding for Construction (Spring)
Welding for Manufacturing (Fall)
PTO Graduation Award Scholarship
Deadline: May 30, 2025
This scholarship recognizes students who have volunteered their time to the community throughout their high school careers. Applicants only need two hours volunteer work each year of high school to qualify!
Naomi L. Dyer Memorial Scholarship
Deadline: May 5, 2025
Awarded to a graduating senior with financial need who plans to obtain a degree in a STEM related field or elementary education - established in memory of Naomi, HCS class of 1969 Valedictorian, by her loving family. See Mrs. Slesinsky if you are interested in this scholarship.
The Joseph D. And Julia V. Coughlin Scholarship Fund
Deadline: May 5, 2025
Awarded to a graduating senior attending a specialty program with a strong desire to obtain a degree and is passionate about the program they will be studying. See Mrs. Slesinsky if you are interested in this scholarship.
The Rainbow Scholarship
Deadline: May 5, 2025
The “Rainbow Scholarship has been created to provide meaningful support to the young LGBTQ+ youth of our community who plans to pursue a post-secondary education. The recognized scholarship recipient will have demonstrated their commitment to promoting a positive understanding of the LGBTQ+ community to the greater community.
SAANYS Region 9 Scholarship
Deadline: May 7,2025
This scholarship is for any senior who is entering the field of education, or a related field (speech therapy, school counselor, social worker, etc.) for college prep.
Jim Bryden Memorial Scholarship
Deadline: June 1, 2025
For college or trade school-bound students pursuing a career in fields related to historic preservation, such as architecture, urban planning, construction, etc.
Cirkled In “No Sweat” Scholarship
Deadline: June 30, 2025
This scholarship is for any senior continuing their education!
NYS Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Incentive Program
Deadline: August 18, 2025
