End of school year important message

Dear Harpursville Community,

I want to express my sincere appreciation for your unwavering support throughout this school year. As we near the end of the academic calendar, I am filled with excitement for the upcoming end-of-year celebrations and want to ensure that everyone is well-informed about the remaining days of classes and work for both educators and support staff.

For the Jr/Sr High:
Please note that the last day of classes will be Thursday, June 13th. Additionally, Regents Exams are scheduled for Tuesday, June 4th for Algebra 1, and from Friday, June 14th to Tuesday, June 25th.
Please mark your calendars.

Remember that there will be no school for staff or students on Wednesday, June 19th in observance of Juneteenth.

For W. A. Olmsted Elementary:
The last day of classes will be on Tuesday, June 18th. On June 14th, the 3rd Grade field trip is to Ross Park Zoo and there is also a Cole Park trip for PK, 2nd, and 6th graders.  For June 17th the Cole Park trip is for 3rd to 5th graders and the 6th Grade Field trip will be to Rosamond Gifford Zoo.  On June 18th we have our 6th-grade graduation and Field Days for all elementary grade levels.

Once again, I extend my heartfelt gratitude for all of your support throughout this school year. I am immensely proud of our district and the community as a whole and I am honored to serve as the Superintendent of the Harpursville Central School District. Rest assured that we will continue to provide our students with the best education and experiences in the weeks to come.

Thank You,
Heath Georgia
Superintendent of Schools
