The Harpursville Central School District has had a long and proud tradition in athletics. Wearing a uniform with the colors blue and gold means that you are part of a legacy that dates back generations.
Being a Hornet is about something larger than traditional athletic measurements like wins and losses. It is about punching a ticket with a lifetime membership to a club that links not only you and your current teammates, but also all the Hornets that came before you and all the student/athletes that will grace this campus in the future.
Athletic competition is designed to create memories, not only for the student athletes, but for the Harpursville community that shares in our teams’ athletic triumphs and tribulations as well. We are always respectful of the legacy that intertwines the hopes and dreams of our student/athletes and the students and families that cheer them on. To that end, the Harpursville Board of Education could think of no better way to ensure that the heritage of our student/athletes stays intact for the future than to provide a name for our new stadium. At this time, we are pleased and honored to christen our football field Alumni Stadium.
The Board of Education would also like to thank all our families and friends who support our Harpursville Hornets. And once again, welcome to Alumni Stadium!
