Celebrating Literacy Growth at W.A.O. Elementary

Harpursville CSD is incredibly proud of the measurable literacy growth our students have achieved.

We're honored that our elementary school was recently featured in a video developed by the New York State Education Department (NYSED) and Cornell University and selected to be highlighted at the New York State Office of Special Education's Educational Partnership Statewide Network Spring 2026 Conference.

These recognitions reflect the dedication of our outstanding educators, who have embraced evidence-based instructional practices to help every student strengthen their literacy skills.
