Harpursville CSD Holds District Strategic Planning Meeting

Today, Harpursville Central School District held its District Strategic Planning meeting, bringing together Board of Education members, district administrators, staff members, teachers, and community members to reflect on our progress and plan for the future.

During the meeting, participants reviewed our previous strategic plan and celebrated key accomplishments from the 2025-2026 school year, including the continued implementation of evidence-based instructional practices, measurable student growth, and the progress we've made toward achieving our district goals. The group also discussed priorities and next steps as we prepare for the upcoming school year.

Attendees reviewed anonymous feedback collected through our community Strategic Planning Survey and engaged in meaningful discussions about future opportunities and initiatives that will continue to strengthen our schools. The planning process also included conversations about preparing for New York State Education Department's (NYSED) InspireNY and Portrait of a Graduate initiatives, ensuring that our district continues to align curriculum, instruction, and assessment with these new standards.

We are grateful to everyone who shared their time, ideas, and perspectives. By working together with our Board of Education and our entire school community, we can ensure every student has the tools, resources, and opportunities needed to achieve success in the classroom and beyond, while positioning Harpursville to successfully implement New York's future-focused educational initiatives.
