Budget Newsletter and Absentee Ballots Mailed Thursday, May 21
School budget newsletter and absentee ballots mailed Thursday, May 21.  All households in which a resident is registered with the Board of Elections in Broome or Chenango County or who appear on the district’s poll registration from the last year will be issued an absentee ballot. If an individual or household is not sent an absentee ballot, they may request an absentee ballot from the District Clerk by email to [email protected] or by calling (607)693-8112.  Such requests must be received by the District Clerk at least seven days before the vote (June 9) if the ballot is to be mailed to the absentee voter or the day before the vote (June 8) if the ballot is to be delivered personally to the absentee voter.  Absentee ballots must be received in the office of the District Clerk not later than 5:00 p.m. on the day of the vote (June 9).  CLICK HERE for budget related information and CLICK HERE for budget hearing information.  Thank you!   *per executive order dated June 7, 2020 ballots will be counted on June 16th beginning at 5 pm - any votes received via US Mail only between June 9 and June 16 will still be accepted.
