Dear Harpursville Community,

 

Our superintendent, Michael Rullo, has accepted the position as the next DCMO District Superintendent. The Harpursville Board of Education has started the process of recruiting and hiring our next superintendent by appointing Mrs. Rebecca Stone, BT BOCES District Superintendent, to support our district through the search process. We anticipate that our new superintendent will begin their work on July 1, 2023.

 

Input from our stakeholders is important to this process. We will be gathering input on the important characteristics of our new superintendent through an online survey tool - ThoughtExchange. The Harpursville ThoughtExchange will give our community the opportunity to share ideas, opinions, and perspectives. CLICK HERE to participate in Thought Exchange survey November 28 - December 7!

 

Information gathered from the ThoughtExchange will be used by the Board as we develop the job posting. We anticipate the job will be posted on January 3rd.

 

We encourage all of you to engage in the ThoughtExchange. The input of our community is an important part of the superintendent search and will inform the interview process.
