Good Afternoon HCS Students & Families,
It is getting close to prom season and we’d like to provide you with some details for this year’s Junior Prom, A Masquerade Ball:
Date: Saturday, May 17, 2025
Place: Tavern 1244, Greene, NY
Time: 6:30-11:00 p.m. (Students will be required to stay the entire time.)
Cost: $50.00 per person, a mask is included in the purchase of a prom ticket.
Please make checks payable to Class of 2026.
Permission slips are available outside of Mrs. Bowen’s room. You may give your signed permission slip to her prior to the purchase of the ticket, or you can give it to her on the day of purchase. You will not be able to purchase a ticket without a signed permission slip.
Pictures can be taken behind the Tavern starting at 6:00 p.m. the day of the prom, but the doors will not open until 6:20 p.m. Nobody is allowed to enter past 6:45 p.m. Every student will be subject to a breathalyzer test when they enter.
Tickets will be on sale April 7, 9, 14, & 16 during collaborative time and 6th period lunch. You must be a junior or senior to purchase a ticket. If you are bringing a guest, the guest must be at least in 9th grade and less than the age of 21 on the day of the prom. Any guest who is not a current Harpursville student must provide a valid form of identification.
As a reminder, this is a school-sponsored event, and all school rules still apply. Any incidents may lead to consequences at school.
