Sarah Miller Named New Assistant of Curriculum, Instruction and Accountability
The Harpursville Central School District Board of Education proudly announced the appointment of Sarah Miller as their new Assistant of Curriculum, Instruction, and Accountability. Miller will be guiding the district's educational standards, curriculum development, and assessment practices, ensuring an enriched academic experience for all students.

With an illustrious career spanning over two decades, she brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to the district. Her vast experience, both in the classroom as a secondary science teacher and in numerous administrative positions, is expected to be pivotal in further strengthening Harpursville's educational framework.

Before joining the Harpursville family, Miller served as the Director of Secondary Curriculum and Instruction at Union-Endicott Central School District. During her tenure there, she played an instrumental role in collaborating with educators to revamp curriculum and assessment practices to cater to the diverse learning needs of students. Her earlier stint as the Director of Curriculum and Instructional Technology at Sidney Central School District saw her supervise significant curriculum changes, emphasizing a standards-based, quality-driven approach to education.

An avid learner, Miller's academic credentials also stand out. She's currently pursuing a Doctorate in Education from Binghamton University. In addition to her doctorate, Miller's educational background includes a Master of Arts in Teaching with a specialization in Earth Science from Colgate University and a Bachelor of Science in Earth Systems from SUNY Empire State College.

With a rich background in district leadership and a legacy of impactful classroom teacher, Miller has distinguished herself through her unwavering dedication to excellence, passion for innovation, and commitment to all learners.
