The Harpursville Central School celebrates senior Colin LaDue and his contributions to our school and community. This year Colin was selected to participate in the Law and Government program as a part of the New Visions Program. He is an active member of the National Honor Society, consistently earns the honor of being named to the Principal’s list, while also being a student athlete. Colin has been a part of the golf and baseball programs at Harpursville since middle school. Colin is also an active member of his church and serves his community each year through his assistance with the Harvest dinner. One of Colin’s most impressive contributions is to the students at WAO Elementary School. Colin has been volunteering to mentor young students on a regular basis since starting high school. His compassion and interest in these students positively affects so many of them. He often stands in as a special friend for many of our students during special events at school always making them feel important. Colin can be found every afternoon at the elementary school interacting with groups of students in the after school program. His leadership and willingness to act as a big brother has made a big difference in the lives of our students. Congratulations Colin!
