Tristan Kelly Honored for Exceptional Work Experience by Broome-Tioga BOCES

On December 4, Harpursville and PALS Work Experience student Tristan Kelly was recognized by Broome-Tioga BOCES, earning a "Student Spotlight" for his outstanding achievements as a Work Experience Intern. Tristan was celebrated for his contributions while working with CHOW and Greater Good Grocery through the Work Experience Program.

Tristan’s role at CHOW and Greater Good Grocery involves a variety of hands-on tasks, providing him with invaluable real-world experience. Each day from 9 to 11 a.m., he takes on responsibilities such as sorting and packing food, delivering food boxes to cars, and operating specialized equipment like forklifts and electric pallet jacks. Thanks to this program, Tristan has not only gained practical skills but has also earned his Forklift Certification, a qualification that will greatly benefit him in the workforce.

Harpursville Jr./Sr. High School Principal Kristine Conrow praised Tristan, saying, “He is a great kid. This is a wonderful honor and well-deserved.” Tristan himself shared that the highlights of his experience have been “using the forklift and working with his friends.”
The recognition as Best Work Experience Intern is a testament to Tristan’s hard work and dedication.

Congratulations, Tristan, on this well-earned achievement!
